Ingredients
- 3/4 cup bourbon whiskey
- 3/4 cup Ketchup (optional for sauce rather than glaze)
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
- 2 tablespoon honey
- 2 Tablespoons Sriracha Sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon Ground Ginger)
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Pour all the sauce ingredients into a small saucepan over medium heat. Simmer while whisking frequently. If you prefer more of a sauce than a glaze, add 3/4 cup of ketchup.
- Once the brown sugar is dissolved, continue to gently simmer the glaze, without whisking for about 15 minutes. The sauce will reduce, which is OK.
- Take the sauce off the stove and rest for 30 minutes to thicken before using. Once it’s ready, you can save and refrigerate for up to two weeks.
